Duane Levanen, President of Levanen Pluming Inc., started in the plumbing trade in 1990, working with his cousin in Hillsboro, Oregon.

In Hillsboro, Duane worked on large apartment buildings and motels, as a foreman. While working there, he attended plumbing trade school, learning the Uniform Plumbing Code, at Clackamas Community College in Gresham, Oregon.

In 1995 Duane moved to South Dakota and worked for Hurney Plumbing in Watertown, SD for 7 years. For Hurney Plumbing, he worked on schools, apartment complexes, and residential plumbing.

 

In 2002, Duane and his wife Nancy started their own Plumbing business in Rural Bryant, SD. His experience here has been with commercial/residential, in-floor heating systems, gas fitting, remodels, apartment buildings, sewer line cleaning with video technology,

The business has been thriving there for 18 years.
